释义 | 職務/職位 1. A position of authority to which duties and functions are attached; an independent post, with some degree of permanence, to which successive people can be appointed: Edwards v Clinch [1982] AC 845. 2. In relation to income tax assessment, a position of defined authority in an organisation (for example company director, president of a club, holder of a position with statutory powers). The post or position does not have to be one of authority in a government or other public organisation. 3. A post or employment that is a subsisting, permanent position existing independently of the person who fills it, and that goes on and is filled in succession by successive holder: Great Western Railway Co v Bater [1920] 3 KB 266. 4. In relation to corporation, reference is made to the office of director in Company Ordinance (Cap 32). 5. A specific place where business is conducted or where the clerical work of an organisation is performed. 6. A room or suite of rooms separately occupied and used for any commercial, industrial or professional purpose.
