| 释义 | 執行部份 The main part of a formal written contract, deed, power of attorney or other instrument that deals with the creation or transfer of right by which the main object of the contract is carried into effect; the main part of a notice that gives the information; the main content of an ordinance, a letter or an affidavit. The operative part is distinguishable from any introductory matter, recitals, or formal conclusion. It can also mean the main part of an award or an order: A-G v Shimizu Corp (formerly known as Shimizu Construction Co Ltd) [1996] 2 HKC 412.
