| 释义 | 慈善 1. In popular usage, benevolent or eleemosynary. 2. In law, a trust is charitable only if it is for a charitable purpose as understood in relation to charitable trusts. The nature of the kind of activities that could be regarded as charity is generally of a public character, that is, for the benefit of significant section of the community: Registered Trustees Incorporation Ordinance (Cap 306) s 2.
