| 释义 | 言語授權／ 口頭授權 In the law of agency, authority given orally by a principal to create an agency relationship. When authority is given orally, its terms and extent are questions of fact, depending on the circumstances of the particular case and the usages of the profession, trade or business (Collen v Gardner (1856) 21 Beav 540), and all reasonable acts in relation to the business: (Cunliffe-Owen v Teather and Greenwood [1967] 3 All ER 561, 1 WLR 1421). Writing may be required in some cases: Grand Subject Investment Ltd v Marble Road Co Ltd [1993] 1 HKC 499. Parol authority is construed more liberally than authority conferred under seal, and regard is to be had to the object of the authority and the circumstances of the business: Donaldson v Noble (1888) 14 VLR 1021.
