释义 有證據價值的事實
Facts which have a natural and logical tendency to prove or disprove a fact in issue in a proceeding before a court, or which experience ordinarily shows to have that effect: Metropolitan Asylum District Managers v Hill (Appeal No 1) (1882) 47 LT 29 (HL). In civil cases the courts will admit evidence of similar facts if it is logically probative, provided it is not oppressive or unfair to the other side, and also that the other side has fair notice of it and is able to deal with it: So Amy v Au Leslie [1995] 2 HKC 113 (CA). See also Adducing evidence; Admissibility.
