释义	形式上的租船合約 A document which sets out, during negotiation of a charter of a ship, all the main terms of the agreement between a charter and a shipowner but which is not actually adopted as the agreement itself. A pro forma charterparty, which was used in a similar previous transaction, will be used as a template, on which alterations will be made to bring it into line with the current fixture. Care must be taken to make sure that the terms in the pro forma charterparty which are not applicable in the current fixture are deleted and removed: Etablissements Georges et Paul Levy v Adderley Navigation Co Panama SA (The Olympic Pride) [1980] 2 Lloyd’s Rep 67.
