| 释义 | 刑事司法體制 The people, processes, institutions and laws associated with the defining, monitoring and enforcement of rules, for which the breach attracts a financial or custodial sanction. The criminal justice system is centred upon the right of an accused beyond reasonable doubt. Every person has a common law right to be tried by jury, however, this right has been altered by the creation of summary offences and the establishment of the District Court where the judge also acts as the jury.
