释义	1992年馬斯特里赫特條約 A multilateral agreement to further the economic convergence of national economies of the former European Economic Community. It gives greater powers to the European Parliament, makes the Western European Union the Economic Community’s defence arm, and introduces two new pillars to form the European Union. It consists of two parts: the Economic and Monetary Union Treaty; and the Political Union Treaty. The treaty was signed on 7 February 1992 and came into effect on 1 November 1993.
