释义 | 獲救助船隻 A ship which has been saved from danger at sea by a salving vessel. A salved vessel is liable to pay appropriate salvage remuneration to the salving vessel. This is also the case where, in a collision, the salving vessel belongs to the same owners as the other colliding vessel, which is partly to blame for the collision: The Kafiristan [1937] 58 Ll L Rep 317; International Convention on Salvage 1989 art 12(3). The test of whether a vessel is one which can be the subject of salvage is whether it was constructed for the purpose of being navigated, or of conveying cargo or passengers: Wells v The Owners of the Gas Float Whitton No 2 [1897] AC 337.
