释义 | 編輯 A person who prepares a literary, dramatic or artistic work. In general, an editor is the person who superintends the publication of any literary work: Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong, Vol 18(2), Media and Communications [255.029]. The mere fact that a person is appointed editor of a newspaper does not give him control of the conduct of the paper or of the material to be included: Crookes v Petter (1860) 3 LT 225. However, the editor of a newspaper is responsible for all illegal matter which appears in the paper.
