释义	環境研究 As conceived in environmental planning legislation, a study undertaken of a local area, in whole or part, prior to the making of a local environmental plan or planning scheme. An environment study seeks information about land, the local economy, the environment and the people of the area. It aims to identify problems that may require setting special standards, provide a basis for varying general standards to meet local requirements, provide information to assist in making development and other applications to the authority; and assist the authority in its assessment of them.
