| 释义 | 衡平法產業權 An estate in land which is enforceable only by a court of equity. Whilst the categories of equitable estate remain open, some recognised types include the interest of a cestui que use, a beneficial estate under a trust, a future estate and the interest of a person who has received an imperfectly or incompletely conveyed legal estate for which value has been given. Equitable estate is within the definition of ‘land’: Limitation Ordinance (Cap 347) s 2. Any estate, interest or charge in or over land which is not a legal estate or a freehold: Conveyancing and Property Ordinance (Cap 219) s 2.
