释义	法定免責辯護 A justification or excuse to a criminal charge provided by the statutory provision creating the offence. If the defence is made out by the defendant, it will lead to a finding of not guilty in a criminal prosecution. For strict liability offences, the statutory defence of due diligence will usually be provided by the statute: for example Immigration Ordinance (Cap 115) s 17I(1A); A-G v Yip Man Cheung [1989] 2 HKLR 547.
