释义 | 預見後果 An awareness by a person of the possible (or probable) result of that person’s intentional act or omission. Continuing to act or failing to act notwithstanding a foresight of the possible consequences of the act or omission can result in the person being held criminally liable where the person acted recklessly with regard to those consequences: R v Lawrence [1981] 1 All ER 974, [1982] AC 510; R v Caldwell [1981] 1 All ER, 73 Cr App Rep 13 (HL); R v Chau Ming Cheong [1983] 1 HKC 68, HKLR 187 (CA); R v Kwong Tat Chuen [1996] 4 HKC 217 (HC).
