| 释义 | 自願入院 The admission of a voluntary patient to a psychiatric hospital for treatment of a psychiatric condition. A person who appears to require treatment in a mental hospital and is admitted by medical superintendent, where he (or in the case of a person under the age of 16 years, his parent or guardian) is desirous that he should receive such treatment; and completes an application in writing; and lodges the application with the medical superintendent, is voluntarily admitted: Mental Health Ordinance (Cap 136) s 30(1).
