However, by way of the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong adherence to the Universal Copyright Convention 1952 and the Berne Convention. Signatories of these conventions dealing with copyright have agreed to extend copyright protection under their domestic laws which have sufficient nexus with other signatories.
