释义	精算師 A person, usually trained in statistics and traditionally found in the insurance industry, who computes premiums upon the basis of such factors as risk, mortality, frequency of incidents such as fire, etc. Actuarial tables, which indicate the life expectancy of a person, may be admissible as evidence in court by way of an expert witness. Prescribed qualifications for actuaries in Hong Kong are outlined in the Insurance Companies (Actuaries’ Qualifications) Regulations (Cap 41A).
