释义	生活費 Lat - alimonia - sustenance. A financial benefit paid by one spouse to the other, upon divorce, which enables the second spouse to maintain himself or herself. While the term is widely used in the United States, it is no longer used in Hong Kong although the term can be found in some older case law: Germina Floriza Joana Colman v George Coxel Colman [1956] HKLR 64. The modern equivalent is ‘maintenance’.
