释义	聽取對方意見 Lat – to hear the other side. It is a fundamental principle of procedural fairness that both sides to a dispute be given an opportunity to understand and answer any case against them. The adversarial process of a court trial requires that the judge give each party the opportunity to present his or her own case and to meet that of the opponent. An arbitration must also allow each party to comment on and contradict the material offered by an opponent (unless the parties otherwise agree): T A Miller Ltd v Minister of Housing and Local Government & Anor [1968] 2 All ER 633 (CA).
