释义	禁止性強制令 A discretionary equitable remedy awarded by a superior court to restrain the imminent threat or the commission or continuance of unlawful acts, on the proof that the unlawful acts are continuing and will continue. Prima facie the court will not grant an injunction to restrain an actionable wrong for which damages are an adequate remedy (London and Blackwall Rly Co v Cross (1886) 31 Ch D 354 (CA)), unless the injury is continuous (Desk Advertising Co Ltd v Société Civile de Participations du Groupe ST Dupont (1973) 117 Sol Jo 483 (CA)) or irreparable (Orr-Lewis v Orr-Lewis (1949) P 347, 1 All ER 504). It is contrasted with a mandatory injunction.
