释义	平均條款 A clause in a policy of insurance which provides that the items included in the policy, in the event of loss, shall each be covered to the extent that the proportion of the value bears to the value in total. If then at the time of loss, the value of the subject matter exceeds the coverage, then the insurer is deemed to cover the difference in value and hence will bear an appropriate portion of the loss. Often referred to as a ‘co-insurance clause’. See also Average. 保單上的一項條款，規定所列項目如有損失，應逐項按總值的一定比例賠償。遇有發生損失時，標的物的價值超越保額，保險人當作須負責差額，因此需要承擔適當份額的賠償。通常稱為「共保條款」。另見 Average。
