| 释义 | 汽車交通罪行 An offence arising pursuant to a statute ‘in respect of the use, standing or parking of a motor vehicle’: for example, Road Traffic Ordinance (Cap 374) pt V; Motor Vehicles Insurance (Third Party Risks) Ordinance (Cap 272) s 4(1). Examples of motor traffic offences are causing death by dangerous driving, careless driving, driving a motor vehicle under the influence of drink or drugs: Road Traffic Ordinance (Cap 374) ss 36-39. A person convicted of any motor traffic offence may be disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for the period specified: Road Traffic (Driving-offence Points) Ordinance (Cap 375).
