| 释义 | 應呈報的疾病 A disease requiring notification to the relevant authority upon discovery, or reasonable suspicion of its occurrence. If, on examining an employee or a former employee or the body of a person who was immediately before the death an employee or former employee, a medical practitioner finds or suspects that the employee or former employee is or was suffering from a specified occupational disease, and believes that the disease was or may have been attributable to a specified occupation, he must notify the finding or suspicion to the Commissioner for Labour: Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance (Cap 509) s 15(1)(a), sch 2. Should the surgeon of, or any medical practitioner visiting, any vessel or aircraft within the limits of Hong Kong find on board any infectious disease, it is the duty of such surgeon or medical practitioner to inform the master of the nature of the disease and notify the same in writing to a health officer: Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong, Vol 21, Public Health and Municipal Services [320.295].
