| 释义 | 專利說明書 The description, claims and drawings contained in an application for a patent under the Patents Ordinance (Cap 514), a designated patent application or an international application: Patents Ordinance (Cap 514) s 2(1). An invention in respect of which an application has been filed shall be taken to be that specified in a claim of the specification of the application, as interpreted by the description and any drawings contained in that specification; an invention for which a patent has been granted shall be taken to be that specified in a claim of the specification of the patent, as interpreted by the description and any drawings contained in that specification, and the extent of the protection conferred by a patent or an application for a patent shall be determined accordingly: s 76(1). The claims define the matter for which protection is given or sought, is clear and concise and is supported by the description: s 78.
