释义	終審法院首席法官 Abbr – CJ. The most senior judge of the Court of Final Appeal and the head of the judiciary in the Hong Kong SAR. Chief Justice is appointed by the Chief Executive following the procedure as stated in the Basic Law, and is charged with the administration of the judiciary: Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal Ordinance (Cap 484) s 6(1), (2); Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance (Cap 1) s 3. Chief Justice shall be Chinese citizen who is permanent resident of the Hong Kong SAR with no right of abode in any foreign country: Basic Law art 90.
