释义	不許轉讓契諾 The covenant under which parties to a deed stipulate that the subject matter or interests created by the deed should not be transferred to any non-party or that the benefit will only be transferred if certain procedures are followed: Kam Lan Koon & Ors v S-J [1999] 3 HKC 591, 3 HKLRD I2 (CA); Willie Co v Lo Man and Welfare Co [1957] HKLR 512. The effect of a breach of covenant against assignment may depend on the nature of the rights to which the prohibition relates.
