释义	同期執行的刑期 A sentence which is served at the same time as another sentence for another offence. The courts have power to direct whether a term of sentence be served concurrently or consecutively: Magistrates Ordinance (Cap 227) s 57; District Court Ordinance (Cap 336) s 82(1); Criminal Procedure Ordinance (Cap 221) s 68. The court may consider the totality of the correct sentence when dealing with multiple offences: R v Chan Kam Chuen [1995] 2 HKCLR 257.
