| 释义 | 專業責任 The roles and responsibilities of the legal profession and of its members in the provision of legal services. A legal practitioner’s essential professional responsibility or task is to make successful the service of the law to the community. Professional responsibility entails an understanding of the legal profession and its public interest function in relation to the administration of justice, an understanding of the legal and ethical rules of professional conduct, and the development of a personal sense of right conduct. Professional firms are entitled to be protected from the misuse of their styles and titles and of the assurance of professional responsibility: Re A Solicitor’s Clerk [1978] HKLR 160 (CA).
