| 释义 | 國君豁免權 At common law, the Crown is immune from legal proceedings as ‘the King hath no Lord but God’ and ‘the King can do no wrong’. This position is confirmed by M v Home Office [1994] 1 AC 377 (HL). As to tort, contract and analogous claims, the Crown immunity was abolished by the Crown Proceedings Act 1947.
