| 释义 | 貨幣互換交易 A transaction in which two parties agree that one party sells to the other at an agreed exchange rate a certain amount in one currency in return for an equivalent amount in another currency on the date when the agreement comes into effect and both parties agree to reverse the positions and re-exchange the principals on the day when the deal matures. The final exchange is made at the originally agreed exchange rate rather than the rate prevailing on the maturity date. The transaction is an off-balance borrowing. The interest differential between the two currencies is paid over the life of the swap. 交易雙方達成協議，在協議生效日，一方按約定匯率賣給另一方一定數量的貨幣以交換等量的另一種貨幣，雙方在交易到期日再次交易，互換本金。最終的互換是依最初約定的匯率而非到期日當日的匯率。這種交易是資產負債表外的借貸。兩種貨幣的利差在互換期結束時予以支付。 |
