| 释义 | 模擬像 A figure, portrait, or sculpture of a person. An effigy is capable of being defamatory if it contains an innuendo which tends to injure the reputation of the person being represented. Libels are generally in writing or in print, but may be, for example, a statue, a caricature, an effigy, chalk marks on a wall, signs or pictures: Monson v Tussauds Ltd, Monson v Louis Tussaud [1894] 1 QB 671; Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong, Vol 25, Tort [380.507].
