释义	經濟濟助 Orders granted by a court that give a determination on a monetary dispute between parties to a marriage or a former relationship. Since 1st July 1972, provision for matrimonial finance is made under the Matrimonial Proceedings and Property Ordinance and proceedings are usually commenced in the District Court but may be transferred to the Court of First Instance. The usual order for financial relief can be related to maintenance pending suit, alimony, a lump sum payment, the transfer and settlement of property and the variation of settlement, or for sale of property and the use of proceeds of the sale: Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong, Vol 12, Family Law [180.408].
