| 释义 | 外地銀行 Any bank incorporated outside Hong Kong which is not an authorised institution; any undertaking of an authorised institution, including that of the institution to which notice is given under this section, which is situated outside Hong Kong: Banking Ordinance (Cap 155) s 86. Under the law of Hong Kong, all banks carrying on their banking business in Hong Kong owe the same obligations to their customers irrespective of where their head offices happen to be: FDC Co Ltd & Ors v The Chase Manhattan Bank NA [1990] 1 HKLR 277 (CA).
