| 释义 | 兀鷲基金 A financial fund created and maintained by a company or financial institution to be used swiftly at an appropriate moment for the acquisition or seizure of a vulnerable business. Such fund is used for investing in securities from distressed companies, such as high-yield bonds in or near default and equities in companies that have filed or will soon file for bankruptcy. Apparently these investments carry a particularly high level of risk. Nowadays many hedge funds, looking for higher return on investment, are pursuing this kind of strategy. 由公司或財務機構設立及維持的金融基金，於適當的時候迅速地用於購置或控制弱勢的業務。陷入財政困難的公司會用此等基金作證券投資，例如欠繳或快將欠繳的高孳息債券，及已申請或將近申請破產的公司的股本。此等投資明顯明地附有特別高水平的風險。現時很多謀求較高投資回報的對沖基金正採取此類策略。 |
