释义	共同許諾人 A promisor whose promise is given by two or more persons. Where a promise is given by two or more co-promisors the promise be ‘joint’, ‘joint and several’ or ‘several’. The common law presumption is that a promise by two or more persons is made jointly, but the question is one of intention to be determined by construction of the language used, and in the case of ambiguity, by reference to the interests and relations of the parties. A discharge by release of one co-promisor, whether joint or joint and several, is a discharge of all co-promisors: Nicholson v Revill (1836) 4 Ad & El 675.
