释义	平均保險核算師 An individual who adjusts a matter or arranges or settles or ascertains it; hence, in insurance, a determination of the amount of the claim to be made against the insurer. Average adjusters specialise in adjusting ship owner and cargo owner losses and in so doing, calculate or adjust claims on policies, allocate proportionate recoveries from third parties and the proceeds of sale, and act as arbitrators in disputes arising therefrom.
