释义 | 條例 1. A rule established by an authority; a permanent rule of actions. Commonly, an ordinance is used to designate the enactments of the legislative body of a municipal corporation. It designates the local law of a municipal corporation, enacted by the authorities, prescribing general, uniform, and permanent rules of conduct relating to the corporate affairs of the municipality. 2. A source of Hong Kong law. Ordinances include laws enacted by the Legislative Council (The Basic Law art 73(1)), or adopted by virtue of Article 160 of the Basic Law as a law of the Hong Kong SAR: Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance (Cap 1) s 3.
