释义	透支帳戶 A current account having a debit balance. It is effectively a loan granted by a bank to its customer, thus reversing the role of debtor and creditor in the banker-customer relationship: Re Hone, ex p Trustee v Kensington BC [1951] Ch 85. A bank may charge interest on the overdraft account. A customer who draws a cheque when there are insufficient funds in his or her account to meet the cheque is making an implied request to the bank to supply overdraft facilities: Cuthber v Robarts, Lubbock & Co [1909] 2 Ch 226.
