| 释义 | 區議會 A district council is to consist of elected members, appointed members, and where it is a district council established for a district in which there is one or more rural committees, as ex-officio members, the chairman of each such rural committee while holding office as the chairman: s 9. The District Councils Ordinance establishes 18 district councils in the Hong Kong SAR: District Councils Ordinance (Cap 547) ss 3, 4 and sch 1 pt I, sch 2. Nine of which in the urban areas and nine in the New Territories. The functions of a District Council are to advise the Government on matters affecting the well-being of the people in the district; and on the provision and use of public facilities and services within the district; and on the adequacy and priorities of Government programmes for the district; on the use of public funds allocated to the district for local public works and community activities; and where funds are made available for the purpose, to undertake environmental improvements within the district; the promotion of recreational and cultural activities within the district; and community activities within the district. 區議會由以下人士組成─ 民選議員；委任議員；及如屬為有1個或多於1個鄉事委員會的地方行政區設立的區議會，每個該等鄉事委員會的主席在出任主席的期間擔任當然議員：《區議會條例》(第 547章)第 9條。《區議會條例》設定香港特別行政區的18區區議會：第 3、 4條以及附表 1第 I部、附表 2。其中九區在市區，其餘的在新界區。區議會的職能如下─ (a) 就以下項目向政府提供意見─(i) 影響有關的地方行政區內的人的福利的事宜；及(ii) 有關的地方行政區內的公共設施及服務的提供和使用；及(iii) 政府為有關的地方行政區制訂的計劃是否足夠及施行的先後次序；及(iv) 為進行地區公共工程和舉辦社區活動而撥給有關的地方行政區的公帑的運用；及(b) 在就有關目的獲得撥款的情況下，承擔─ (i) 有關的地方行政區內的環境改善事務；(ii) 有關的地方行政區內的康樂及文化活動促進事務；及(iii) 有關的地方行政區內的社區活動：第61條。 |
