轉贈他人
A provision in a will or other settlement for a gift made by the testator or donor to pass from the original donee to another person on the happening of a stated contingency: HSBC Trustee (Hong Kong) Ltd v S-J [2000] 1 HKLRD 31. For example, ‘to A if he is married at the date of my death or within one year thereof, failing which to B’. See also Conditional gift; Contingency; Contingent gift.
