| 释义 | 殺嬰 A statutory offence by which a woman by wilful act or omission causes the death of her child, being less than 12 months old, but at the time of the act or omission, the balance of her mind was disturbed because she had not fully recovered from the effect of giving birth, or because of the effect of lactation consequent upon the birth of the child: Offences Against the Person Ordinance (Cap 212) s 47C. An accused found guilty of infanticide is dealt with as if she had been guilty of manslaughter: s 47C.
