释义 | 繼承 1. Property to which one becomes entitled, whether by will or under intestacy, on the death of another: Chan Chiu Lam & Ors v Yau Yee Ping [2000] 3 HKC 167 (CA). 2. An application for financial provision from a deceased’s estate is made under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Ordinance (Cap 481). In family law property proceedings, an adopted son has the same right to inheritance as a natural son provided he has was adopted within the same family as the adoptive parents: Wong Ying Kuen [1957] HKLR 420.
