释义 | 剝奪財產權利 Historically, an action which lay when a jury gave a false verdict. At common law, the members of the jury that had given the false verdict were imprisoned and outlawed, their land and goods forfeited to the Sovereign, and their wives and children turned out of their possessions. The penalty was mitigated in the reign of Henry VIII ((UK) 23 Hen VIII (attaints) 1531-32 c 3). The form of action was abolished in the reign of George IV: (UK) Juries Act 1825 s 60.
