释义 | 空白 An omission of something fundamental in the structure of a bill of exchange: for example, the name of the payee on an order bill, the amount of the bill, or the date (when that is important to determine the bill’s maturity). When a bill is lacking in any material particular, the person in possession of it has a prima facie authority to fill in the omission in any way the person thinks fit: Bills of Exchange Ordinance (Cap 19) s 20(1).
