| 释义 | 附屬 1. Any form of security deposited by someone other than the borrower himself, as opposed to direct security. It is given in addition to the direct security and subordinate to it so that the lender may fall back on it if the direct security fails. 2. A subsidiary, concurrent, subordinate or additional security as opposed to primary security provided by the borrower. 3. Impersonal security such as land, life policies or stocks and shares as opposed to personal security, such as a guarantee.
