释义	固定款項 A sum of money which is certain and readily ascertainable: Henderson v Henderson (1844) 6 QB 288. At common law, in an action brought in contract and tort against a specific individual, a foreign judgment is only enforceable if it is for a fixed sum. A judgment not involving a pecuniary payment of a fixed sum cannot be enforced by the forum. The rule does not apply to equitable decrees appointing receivers.
