| 释义 | 乘客運載 The transportation, usually for reward, of people by land, air or sea from one place to another. The Convention relating to the Carriage of Passengers and their Luggage by Sea 1974, commonly known as the Athens Convention, is given force of law in Hong Kong through the Merchant Shipping (Limitation of Shipowners Liability) Ordinance (Cap 434), and governs the international carriage of passengers and their luggage by sea. The law governing the carriage of passengers by air is found in the Carriage by Air Ordinance (Cap 500) implementing several slightly different air carriage liability regimes established by several different combinations of international conventions, protocols and other arrangements affecting the contract of air carriage. Many of the rules governing non-international carriage by air of passengers are the same as the provisions in the Warsaw-Hague Convention: Carriage by Air Ordinance (Cap 500) sch 1.
