As regards sale of goods, subjected to certain exceptions, there is an implied condition that goods sold are fit for their purpose: Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap 26) s 16. 2. In a lease, there is an implied warranty that the premises are fit for habitation: Collins v Hopkins [1923] KB 617.
